a design-focused Studio + Workshop in long island city, NY.
Designer, artist and carpenter, Chris Southerland has been making hand-built furniture for the past 15 years. His heritage lies deep in the Adirondack region, where he is heavily influenced by three generations of hard-working craftsman who create and live from nature with the goal of building a more meaningful life.
Specializing in working with re-claimed materials, Chris relies on his skills and trained technique to create, design and develop hand-crafted pieces that reflect simplicity and authenticity.
